LOGE is Leaving!

2-20-26:

Some surprising news came to us that LOGE, the hotel company that owns and operates the building we are in, is suddenly going out of business. They are planning to close the Leavenworth location permanently on March 5th and will be closing the entire business. After researching online and finding lots of interesting news articles it sounds like they are looking at a Chapter 7 (liquidation) bankruptcy. Seems they got way ahead of themselves trying to expand too fast and forgetting that operations are important to focus on, and that bills should probably be paid regularly, especially those pesky things like taxes. It’s one thing to stiff a general vendor, but you really don’t want the Man to come down on you.

What does this mean for ol’ Doghaus Brewery? Never fear, we are still hear and will continue to be for some time. Our lease agreement carries on to the next building owner if the building ends up being sold which due to LOGE’s debts is highly likely. We have about 2 years left on the current lease. After that? Well hopefully whomever buys the building loves breweries and wants to keep us around! We will keep you posted!
